1. Why we show advertising

WeMetOnce is intended to remain accessible to people who want to reconnect with meaningful people from their past. Advertising may help fund hosting, security, moderation, development and support.

2. Advertising providers

We may use Google AdSense and other advertising providers. Advertising partners can have their own privacy policies and technologies. We will disclose relevant processing in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

3. User privacy

We do not intend to sell members' private account information to advertisers. Advertising must not be used to expose private profile fields, private messages or other restricted information. Optional advertising technologies will be handled according to applicable consent requirements.

4. User-generated content

WeMetOnce contains user-generated profiles and posts. We use moderation, reporting and blocking controls and may restrict advertising on pages or content that are not suitable for advertising.

5. Ad placement

Ads will be placed so that they are distinguishable from member content and do not overwhelm the page. We will not intentionally design pages so advertising exceeds the value of the content presented to visitors.

6. No paid endorsement

The appearance of an advertisement does not mean WeMetOnce endorses the advertiser, product or service. Users should independently evaluate advertisements before making purchases or sharing information.
